The demons around the village of Taronsawk are distinct in shape from demons found elsewhere. They appear to be composed of multiple human figures merged together in a horrific forging, are covered in hair and pustules, and turn to dust when slain. In addition, they are found in unusually high quantities above ground around Taronsawk, and within Olson's Ruin.
Gilvalur commanded them in the Battle of Taronsawk once the Tomb Raiders destroyed his elemental servants.
Moira Mudshovel eventually revealed the origin of these peculiar fiends. The old Dwarven pioneers of Taronsawk were turned into the demons after Andren Bazat, in a foolhardy experiment, succeeded in opening the Poteus Ark.
