Dig Site Taronsawk, known colloquially as Olson's Ruin is an archaeological site uncovered by Vel Olson and his team from Hollowsmere. South of the town of Taronsawk, it has remnants of several ancient civilisations, from the Dwarves to the Elves. It is most notable for containing the Poteus Ark.

Just beneath the surface, with multiple entrances, is the old Dwarven settlement of Oldhold, fallen into ruin several hundred years ago. In the central chamber lies the Poteus Ark itself, around the sarcophagi and banners of generations of monarchs and lords.

A secret passage in Oldhold leads to Alasandell, specifically to the sewers of an Elven castle. According to Gilvalur, this castle once belonged to a tyrant king, Coris Alasan, who he helped depose. The magical wards of the castle and its surrounding town have long faded. Darkfire himself was found within, split across several magical slates. Unlike the above level but similarly to the forests around Taronsawk, this level was lousy with demons and fiends.

Gilvalur also intimated that a Mogu civilisation lay beneath Alasandell, called Elfori, but no method of reaching it had yet been determined.
