Andren Bazat was a Dwarven pioneer and founder of Taronsawk. In what is now Olson's Ruin, he briefly studied under Gilvalur.

According to Moira Mudshovel, Andren became obsessed with opening the Poteus Ark. He lured a beholder from Elfori to it, hoping to negate its magical, time-travelling protection. He succeeded, unleashing the Taronsawk Demons and himself degenerating into a half-beholder monster, the Thing-that-was-once-Andren.

Within the depths of Elfori, he was vanquished by the Tomb Raiders.
