Taronsawk (formerly Dusidawk) is a town near the wall of Akselmarch, formerly under the dominion of Arkadensmith. It was originally founded by the Dwarven pioneers, but is now largely inhabited by humans.

The nominal leader is Lord Armick Helcullen, but the town currently finds itself split among two factions: one wanting to flee (led by Maria Argsman) before food runs out, and one willing to take their chances in Akselmarch (of which Karver Dyshand is the loudest).

After its founding by Moira Mudshovel, Andren Bazat, Taron Territ and others, it thrived for several decades. After Andren opened the Poteus Ark, the town was rapidly depleted by the ensuing demon incursion. Moira was left as the last survivor.

Until recently, Vel Olson and his expedition were headquartered in Taronsawk.
