Brightwood
The rich and mercantile Land-Within-The-Borders-Of-Brightwood, shortened to the Acres Brightwood or just Brightwood, is a not-quite-Kingdom of the Resolute Kingdoms. A forest of great wealth and investment, rich in both opportunity and cold hard cash, it positions itself as a leader in culture and academia, and spends large amounts of money to ensure that accusations of the richest class controlling the whole system are confined to speculation and satire. These enlightened and mathematical new ways often bring them into conflict with nearby Wood Elves and Shelters (mediated by the Druidic Knights Of Green), while they also have a long history of conflict with nearby Goblinoids.
The leader of Brightwood is the elected Baron - the current Baron is the cunning yet humbly proud Baron Ersten Karovik.
