The Akselmarch Vault is a Vault of Ahm found in the old city of Akselstead, within modern Akselmarch.

Two hundread years ago, while under attack from its neighbours and Arkadensmith, Akselstead tasked its great mages with opening the Akselstead Vault. Whatever it was that was contained within, it annihilated Akselstead and its attackers alike. The situation was dire enough to justify temporarily suspending the Arcanigreement and the complete ostracisation of the monarchy of Old Akselstead.
