“Destroy them, body and soul. All else must wait.”
Paramedes
Paramedes is the leader of the Shadowless. His position as their premier is uncontested, and his orders are, begrudgingly or otherwise, followed. According to a book found within the Holdings, Paramedes and the Without-Shadow, he and his cabal seek to destroy Ahm's work and end Kona.
History
As with much before the First Age, little is known of Paramedes. According to Monoeices and Father Katros, after the creation of Leurut, Paramedes was left whole, and did not need to recombine his soul with another, unlike the rest of the Shadowless (excepting Menoetes).
During the end of the First Age, he fought alongside Protophylarch to seal the elemental beasts within the Vaults of Ahm, seeming to be a competent and virtuous leader. According to Katros, Paramedes was responsible for triggering the calamity, and is a servant of Xanthous. His unexpected part in the conflict was allegedly to preserve his beasts and weapons for another attempt at destroying Kona, once it became clear that Rozmajin would successfully defeat their plans.
