Neutral Evil
The Stranger is the Exile of random destruction and chaotic, indiscriminate evil. Unlike Tiamat and Garatz, the hell wrought by the Stranger is entirely personal in nature.
Typically in Leurut, they are depicted as a hooded humanoid dragging a large sword, sometimes with chains draped around their body. Most scholars agree they are associated with the elements of Death and Darkness. They act with cackling mania, bringing disease and tragedy with them like a miasma.
Many cultures have their own depictions of the Stranger unique to them, mostly incorporating some element of dark levity, secrecy, and duplicity. They hide their true identity and baffle and dazzle their victims. Such depictions include undead jesters, and pox-ridden burghers and mayors.
The Stranger detests law and order in any form, and many thieves and criminals may resort to quick prayers to them if Iol simply doesn't provide. In the Writ, the Stranger is a frequent antagonist of the Second Age.
