Erebos
The Forlorn King
Erebos, the Forlorn King, is a member of the Obsidian Pantheon, and was one of the Twelve Gods. Wounded by Garatz while he rampaged through the greatest mortal kingdom ever known, Erebos chose to die with his beloved people rather than live without them. Now, he stands as the judge and King of the Underworld, beyond the Darikfen. A cold and bitter king of a frozen throne, he rarely finds friends among the mortals now.
It is also Erebos's duty to take the souls of the departed, done so at night, shrouded in a cloak and atop his undead steed. Once a soul is taken, many believe it is Erebos who judges its deeds and intentions in life, and chooses in which part of the Underworld it shall spend eternity.
