The Mogu or Mogunoids were an empire and progenitor species of modern-day Goblinoids. For a thousand years in the Second Age, they ruled Leurut and warred against the Elves. Their society was booned by Gunkolorz Ra and his discovery of godlike power within a Vault of Ahm, and collapsed quickly after his death at the hands of King Oesten.
Many Mogu had metal skin, a trait shared by a few extremely old individuals now considered Hobgoblins, such as Father Katros.
