====== Leonin ======
The **Leonin** are a humanoid species on [[Leurut]], and the chosen species of [[Caleo]]. They bear skins of rough far and heads and manes like those of lions. Originally created to serve as wise and just rulers in the [[First Age]], they continue to make up the ranks of much of the nobility in the [[Second Age]] across the [[Resolute Kingdoms]]. Many see a Leonin and assume noble blood, and many [[Humans]] or other species who intermarry with the Leonin gentry have offspring that bear some feline-like qualities, such as long canines or slightly thinned eyes.
