====== Empty Wall ======

The **Empty Wall** is the name of the vast, dry desert North of [[Leurut]]. It is generally considered to be apart of the continent. It borders both the cold snows of the [[March Mountains]] and the parched ground of the [[Badlands]], leading to the strong belief that the lands are so harsh as a result of losing divine favour somehow.

It has a very different character to [[Ubarikahdri]] - even disallowing the sub-continent's reality-warping properties, the Empty Wall is much more sparsely populated. It has far fewer polities, but each is far larger than a Denizen Esen. However, there is nothing like Thain's Hammer preventing construction or sedentary lifestyles. It is often theorised that there are several thin empires and kingdoms within the sands, but these are largely unknown.

Some travellers from the Empty Wall claim the existence of a new continent as lush as Leurut beyond the great expanse - [[Maurs]].
